LeenGate Facilities

We have an exceptionally well equipped production facility of 40,000 sq ft, a surface coating facility of 8,000 sq ft, plus finished goods warehousing of 9,000 sq ft. Additionally our sister company LeenGate Metals has a purpose built stockholding facility of 22,000 sq ft in Nottingham and a further 16,000 sq ft located at Tipton and most recently a new 12,000 sq ft depot in Bedford. We consider ourselves to be a unique business for all our customers large or small.

Pre-treatments: include a variety of chemical cleaning, pickling and conversion coating methods as well as abrasive blast cleaning.

Coating Processes: encompass an array of paint systems both solvent and water based, powder coating and stove enamelling.

Coating Facilities

We are able to handle small to large batch sizes, from a single component to several thousand per day.Our powder capacity can accommodate four separate colours at any one time.
Maximum flexibility was our key consideration when designing the layout of our coating facility.Three conveyorised systems can accommodate most sizes and configurations from 10mm to 4500mm in length.
Overhead conveyor systems link most of the coating application areas which enable components to be easily transported through the various processes thereby minimising the amount of manual lifting and handling.

We recognise that the key to our quality is the pre-treatment of the surface before the application of the coating.Our various forms of chemical pre-treatment include solvent vapour degreasing, aqueous degreasing and cleaning, phosphating and coversion treatments for aluminium.
Abrasive blast cleaning in which we can accommodate large and small configurations.Our facility enables us to blast both ferrous and non-ferrous substrates using metallic and non-metallic media.
Solvent vapour degreasing using hermetically sealed solvent cleaning technology.Our degreasing machine conforms to the Solvent Emissions (England and Wales) Regulation 2004
